A blaze of orange and red sunset sky silhouettes a stand of bare trees, the branches reduced to black filigree against the burn. The most intense sunset color comes when sunlight passes through the longest stretch of atmosphere, scattering away the blues and leaving the warm end of the spectrum — with a scatter of high cloud to catch it. Light like this rarely lasts more than a few minutes before it fades. The photograph exposes for the bright sky, letting the trees fall fully to silhouette so only the shape of the bare canopy remains — a short-lived sky, held at its peak.

Shipping — Each print is produced on demand at the partner lab nearest you (US, UK, mainland Europe, and 10+ countries), so it travels the shortest distance. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
