The Great Migration at Mara River - Wildebeest Crossing Africa
Free worldwide shipping · Made to order & shipped from a lab near you · Arrives in ~5–8 days (US) · Damaged? Free replacement.
Wildebeest crash into the Mara River in a wall of legs, horns, and water, the head of a vast column pressing across the channel while the rest of the herd queues on the bank. Each year between July and October roughly 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle, complete the circular migration between Tanzania's Serengeti and Kenya's Maasai Mara, and the river crossings are their most dangerous moment. The shutter freezes spray, dust, and the lead animals mid-leap, holding the chaos in one readable frame. A photograph of the largest mammal migration on Earth — at the point of decision.
