Visitors spiral upward along the helical ramps of Norman Foster's glass cupola atop the Reichstag, reflected and multiplied in the central mirrored cone that channels daylight down into the parliamentary chamber below. The design is architecture as political statement a transparent dome crowning the seat of German democracy, inviting citizens to literally rise above their elected representatives. Glass, steel, and sky merge in a dizzying composition of curves, reflections, and human silhouettes, while patches of blue sky and cloud peek through the latticed structure. It is a photograph that captures both the engineering brilliance and the philosophical ambition of one of Europe's most celebrated modern interventions in a historic building.

Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
