Purple Glass Skyscraper - Cloud Reflection Architecture Photography

A glass skyscraper fills the frame with purple-tinted cloud reflected across its mirrored facade, the sky landed flat against the side of a building. Mirrored curtain-wall glass became common in commercial architecture from the 1970s onward — the reflective metallic coating cuts solar heat gain and lowers cooling costs, while turning each tower into a shifting picture of the sky around it. Photographed straight on, the building loses its edges and its depth, and the cladding reads as a single abstract plane of color. The photograph keeps no horizon and no ground for reference, only the glass and what it holds — pure architectural abstraction, a skyscraper dissolved into the weather it carries.
