Rolling green pastures dotted with golden hay bales stretch behind a weathered split-rail fence at the legendary Ardrossan Estate in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Built in 1911 for Colonel Robert L. Montgomery and designed by architect Horace Trumbauer, this 350-acre gentleman's farm is the last surviving great estate on Philadelphia's storied Main Line and the real-life inspiration for the classic 1940 film The Philadelphia Story starring Katharine Hepburn. Mature oaks shade the pastoral landscape where Black Angus cattle still graze today, a timeless scene of American country elegance just miles from Center City Philadelphia.

Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
