A single orange hibiscus opens to fill the frame, its ruffled petals fading toward a deeper throat with a long staminal column thrust well clear of the bloom. Tropical hibiscus, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, carries that distinctive central column — stamens and stigma fused into one structure that holds the pollen out where birds and insects will brush it. Each flower is famously short-lived: most open at dawn and are spent by nightfall, the plant replacing them daily through the warm season. The close-up framing fills the picture edge to edge with petal, leaving no background to compete. The photograph captures a single day's bloom at its fullest.

Shipping — Each print is produced on demand at the partner lab nearest you (US, UK, mainland Europe, and 10+ countries), so it travels the shortest distance. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
