The Manhattan skyline stretches across the frame in fine-art black and white, a forest of towers rising from the East River with the spire of the Empire State Building anchoring the composition near center. Removing color reduces New York to its essential architectural rhythm — the staggered setbacks, the punched windows, the dark vertical lines of every facade carrying the eye upward at once. The monochrome treatment is the way Berenice Abbott and the WPA photographers saw the city in the 1930s, and the way much of the world still pictures it today. Manhattan reduced to silhouette and ink, the most photographed skyline on earth made strange and graphic again.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
