Glacial meltwater carves through a moss-walled basalt canyon in Iceland's interior, the slow water dropping over a series of small ledges as it works the dark stone into shape. Iceland has so many features like this that most go unnamed; the country sits on a divergent plate boundary that produces fresh rock faster than rivers can dress it, and the cool, wet climate then coats every stable surface in moss. The composition treats the canyon as a frame — green walls, dark water, white falls — and lets the small scale of the scene play against the volume of meltwater moving through it.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
