The Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge span the East River side by side, photographed from a helicopter at twilight with Lower Manhattan and One World Trade Center glittering beyond. The Brooklyn Bridge, completed in 1883, was the first steel-wire suspension bridge in the world and remained the longest span on Earth for two decades; the Manhattan Bridge followed in 1909 with a much heavier truss-and-cable design built to carry trains. Side by side they make a usable timeline of American bridge engineering. The black and white treatment strips the scene of period clues and reduces the city to its enduring forms — light, steel, water.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
