A lioness fills a vertical frame head-on through tall savanna grass, shoulders forward, eyes set on the camera. Vertical orientation suits the predator's geometry: a wide chest sloping into the long forearms a lion uses to wrestle prey to the ground, the head balanced on top as a clean focal point. Lionesses (Panthera leo) carry out the majority of a pride's hunting, often in coordinated groups, and that working role is what the upright bracing of the body in this image actually shows. Black-and-white treatment removes color so the line of intention reads first. A portrait of an apex predator at rest — still, attentive, clearly the one watching.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
