A small Icelandic coastal village sits atop dark volcanic cliffs, white and red-roofed houses catching the warm light of the low Arctic sun. The still water below holds a near-perfect reflection of cliff and settlement, doubling the line of the village along the horizon. Iceland's coastal towns were built where the geography offered the only flat ground — narrow shelves between cliff and sea — and most still draw their living from the fishing fleets moored in the same harbours their founders used. Photographed at the late golden hour the high latitudes deliver in summer. A working village at the edge of an island shaped by lava and the sea.

Shipping — Each print is produced on demand at the partner lab nearest you (US, UK, mainland Europe, and 10+ countries), so it travels the shortest distance. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
