Gentoo penguins fling themselves off the edge of an iceberg, captured mid-air against open Antarctic water. Pygoscelis papua is the fastest underwater swimmer of any penguin species, clocked at over 35 kilometers per hour while pursuing krill, fish, and squid below the surface.
