A wall of cherry blossoms in full peak bloom lines the Tidal Basin like a pink cloud that has settled on the water's edge, with the Washington Monument standing tall behind them in the clear spring sky. The famous Yoshino cherry trees a gift from Japan in 1912 form an unbroken canopy of pale pink that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the capital each spring for just this moment. Strollers dot the waterfront path beneath the branches, dwarfed by the sheer abundance of blossoms above. The still water of the basin reflects the soft pink haze, doubling the spectacle and blurring the line between shore and sky. It is Washington at its most gentle and its most photogenic monumental stone softened by the most fleeting of flowers.

Shipping — Each print is produced on demand at the partner lab nearest you (US, UK, mainland Europe, and 10+ countries), so it travels the shortest distance. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
