The cast-iron facade of a SoHo loft building fills the frame, its painted columns and tall arched windows crossed by the diagonal zigzag of riveted iron fire escapes. Lower Manhattan's SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District holds the world's largest concentration of cast-iron architecture, prefabricated in the 1870s and 1880s when molded iron let builders imitate carved stone cheaply and quickly. Rust streaks the painted front and the stairs cut a bold Z across the columns. Industrial-age ornament and fire code, photographed as pure pattern. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
