Burg Eltz rises from a forested spur above the Moselle valley, its cluster of stone towers, half-timbered gables, and steep slate roofs packed tightly onto the rock. Held by branches of the same family for more than 850 years and never destroyed, the medieval castle grew by accretion as each line added its own residence around a shared courtyard. Autumn woodland wraps the hill below. One of Germany's best-preserved castles, looking much as it has for centuries.

Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
