A wall of glacier ice fills the frame, deep blue meltwater pooling at its base while bands of black volcanic ash streak the white-and-turquoise surface above. Iceland's outlet glaciers carry this dark layering from the eruptions they have flowed over, the ash compressed into the ice like sediment in rock. Where the ice is densest and oldest it scatters light blue. Geology and weather written directly into a frozen face.

Shipping — Each print is produced on demand at the partner lab nearest you (US, UK, mainland Europe, and 10+ countries), so it travels the shortest distance. Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
