Sea grass bends in soft directional light on a coastal dune, the fine blades backlit until each one carries its own halo of golden rim. Beach grass (Ammophila breviligulata on the American Atlantic coast) is one of the most important plants on any temperate shoreline — its deep rhizome network holds the dune in place against wind and storm, and without it most barrier islands would have washed away long ago. Photographed low, the image trades on the contrast between the warm grass and the cooler ocean somewhere behind, the kind of frame that reduces a long walk on a beach to a single quiet detail. The shoreline at its most ordinary and most essential.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
