Two young lion cubs sit close together in the warm afternoon light of the Serengeti, ears up and eyes turning toward the same sound somewhere off frame. Lion cubs (Panthera leo) stay with the pride from birth, weaning around six months and beginning to take part in hunts after roughly a year; they remain dependent on the adult females until about two years of age and often nurse from any lactating lioness in the group. The shallow focus separates the pair from the dry grass behind them, holding their faces against a soft golden field. A photograph of the Serengeti at its most quietly observed — two cubs, full attention.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
