A flat-topped umbrella acacia stands in silhouette against a deep red sun low over the Serengeti, branches reaching horizontally across a hazy plain. The umbrella thorn (Vachellia tortilis) is the signature tree of east African savanna, its crown shaped by giraffe browsing on the lower leaves and by tropical winds that flatten everything taller above the canopy. The exposure is set for the sun, dropping every other tone to pure black so only the silhouette of branches and the disc of the sun remain. A photograph of the Serengeti reduced to its two most-photographed elements — one tree, one sun, end of day.

Production 1–4 business days; delivery roughly 3–6 days in the US, UK & EU and 5–10 days rest of world, tracked. EU orders are produced within the EU, so no import duties apply.
Returns — Arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Email ingo@elfering.com within 30 days with photos and we'll send a free replacement — or a full refund if we can't replace it. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
