Lucky Strike Tobacco Factory - Richmond Industrial Photography
The towering brick smokestack of the former Lucky Strike cigarette factory rises against a flawless Richmond blue sky, its faded painted lettering still legible after decades of Virginia sun and rain. A whimsical pink sculpture lounges on the rooftop like a surreal punctuation mark atop this monument to the city's tobacco heritage, while a rusted water tower and the original Lucky Strike medallion on the facade complete the industrial tableau. Now part of Richmond's thriving arts and entertainment district, the building has traded cigarette production for cultural life but its bones remain unmistakably industrial, a red-brick cathedral to an era when tobacco was king and Richmond was its capital. The razor-sharp contrast between warm brick and saturated sky makes the composition almost graphic in its simplicity.

Framed — fine art print, mounted, matted, and framed in a thin black or natural wood profile under museum glass.
Metal — image infused into brushed aluminum, float-mounted with a hidden bracket.
Acrylic — face-mounted under 4 mm acrylic, polished edges, hung with a recessed cleat.
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the inks.
Shipping & returns
Prints ship from the studio within 5–7 business days, made to order. Worldwide tracked shipping. Each print is rolled in an archival tube (or crated for framed/glass/metal/acrylic).
If a print arrives damaged, send a photo within 7 days of delivery and I'll replace it. Because every print is made to order, returns for change-of-mind aren't accepted — but if you're not sure about size or material, write to me before ordering and I'll help you pick.
